Wedding Dress Patterns Free
Where can I find a simple, free/cheap program to design clothing then convert to sewing patterns?
Basically, Im wanting to design dresses and skirts for my daughters and myself. Most importantly dresses for a wedding, but also everyday outfits also. It needs to be very user friendly and simple to learn, and convert the designs to sewing patterns.
It would be really cool if you could see the way different fabric will hang or fall in the designs and test colors. But not necessary.
For patterns, try the Livingsoft link..they have a free download of patterns, including children’s patterns.
Take a look at the Optitext–it is used by professional designer’s, so it’s more complex and expensive, but you may be able to “rent” their designing software-I think it’s
$150.00/month, though. Maybe try Ebay to buy the software you are looking for.
